Macrame Journey

Macrame
Macrame is a form of textiles using knotting. One square inch of knots can take over an hour and contain more than 250 knots. All the macrame accessories are produced with Hemp & cotton waterproof linen. With this waxed macrame cord, it is 100% washable and the color doesn't run or fade neither in sun and water.
How do I start it ?
The art of macramé jewelry began in Latin America and spread to the other part of the world by travellers. I like travel and handmade. In 2013, I went on a hitchhiking journey beginning from Xinjiang , to Tibet , and arrived Nepal. I came across a small macrame workshop in a local family home in Pokhara Village. I was and am still feel so amazed of the macrame knotting techniques, with only thread and stone, you can turn them into one of a kind of art pieces. Since then, I like making macrame accessories wherever I travel to.
