Our Story: Weaving Healing Into Every Knot

Every knot weaves a path. What began as a simple craft has become a journey of creativity, intention, and meaningful handmade creations.

Our Journey

I first discovered macramé in 2013 while backpacking in Nepal. What began as a way to pass the long hours on bus journeys soon became something much more.

In 2014, during a profoundly difficult time in my life, I turned to macramé as a simple, hands-on craft. The rhythmic process of knotting and weaving gave me a way to focus, create, and enjoy a moment of calm.

Today, I pour that same energy into every piece I make. Each bracelet or necklace carries intention, care, and personal meaning—one knot at a time. Every knot is a reminder that even in life’s hardest moments, creativity can help tell your story

Lina – Macramé Artist & Craft Practitioner

I’ve had a bead or a thread in my hand since I was sixteen. What started as selling handmade pieces in London grew into a lifelong obsession with craft, eventually leading me to a diploma in jewelry design and a deep respect for the “slow-made” process.

Today, I am the founder of Wave Your Way. My work is a blend of jewelry design, the rhythmic art of macramé, and decades of teaching experience. With a background in Special Education and certification as an Art Practice Practitioner, I don’t just teach crafts—I create calm, intentional spaces where creativity can thrive.

For me, every knot and bead is a choice. I believe that when we make with intention, we create more than just an object; we create a story. Whether you’re wearing a finished piece or joining me to create your own, I hope you feel the joy and focus woven into every thread.
